NEHI-Led Roundtable
NEHI is conducting a project to examine the earliest steps in the Alzheimer's disease patient journey, from screening and assessment for Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and dementia to follow-up steps that may trigger referral to other services for diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or other neurological disorders.
Join us in person or virtually on May 23 for a roundtable discussion that will provide an opportunity for providers, patients, policymakers, diagnostics developers, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders to discuss pragmatic actions that can be taken to encourage earlier patient screening and assessment, including recommendations for change in policy and practice that will enable adoption of innovative tests and tools for screening, patient assessment, and diagnosis.
The roundtable will feature two panels, both moderated by Tom Hubbard, Senior Vice President of Policy Research at NEHI. CEO & Co-Founder of Linus Health, David Bates, PhD, will be a panelist on Panel 1 - Innovations in Early Detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Dementia.
